Bob Boulding is our founder and instructs guitar, ukulele, bass, and mandolin. Bob started playing guitar at age 9, and never stopped. While studying music at Saddleback College, Bob taught his first guitar group lesson at a local music school. His methods of teaching have developed since he began private instruction in 1999. All the while, Bob has also been a professional musician. For 18 years he was the lead guitarist in the Celtic rock band Young Dubliners, with whom he made 6 albums and played thousands of shows throughout the US and Europe. In addition to guitar playing, Bob also has experience performing on and teaching bass, mandolin, and ukulele. His passion and enthusiasm to give people of all ages the ability to play music is inspired by 25 years of teaching and performing experience.

Bob is a trained Suzuki guitar method instructor. Call today to schedule a lesson!

Musical Superpowers -- What are they?

You can entertain yourself without devices, media, or even power.

You can attract positive attention.

You can create good feeling and happiness out of thin air. You can make a whole room of strangers feel happy.

You can move air molecules with your fingertips.

You can play a part in changing the world. “Music can change the world because it can change people.” – Bono
